RiverBells Swingin’ Ringers

RiverBells Sacramento will perform a concert of handbell music in the Jean Runyon Little Theatre at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium on Sunday, June 4th, 2017 at 3:00pm.

Ticket prices for this concert will be $5.00 before the concert, $7.50 at the door, $2.50 for those with a student I.D., and free for accompanied children under 7 years.

We’re hoping you can join us for an enjoyable early summer afternoon listening to our exceptional group of advanced musicians to perform a widely varied selection of difficult music. Many of the ringers are experienced in small ensemble work, and there are also several accomplished solo ringers. In addition, many RiverBells Sacramento members are proficient on other musical instruments and are often called upon in selections requiring accompaniment.

Originally opened in 1927, the Little Theater thrived as the ideal stage for community theater productions, recitals, puppet shows, poetry readings and other gatherings. In 1982, it closed its doors until it reopened eighteen years later, after a group of business and community leaders worked diligently for almost four years to restore it to its former elegance. The group dedicated the restoration in honor of Jean Runyon, known for her extensive contributions to the Sacramento theater community. The Little Theater was dedicated and named after Jean Runyon on May 24, 2000.
